wednesday

i watched the state of the union for as long as i could. the speech was fine and i am hoping that one of the republicans running this fall will be able to use the clapping moment in a campaign ad. once again congressional democrats refuse to stand and clap for common sense things. do these things matter in a week? historically, no

john fetterman has been a headache for the democrat party lately and its going to be interesting to watch how shapiro and fetterman interact in the future due to shapiro’s obvious presidential aspirations, and fetterman’s attempt to appeal to a state the has gone from reliably blue to very purple.

john solomon has been following the Fani Willis/Fulton County/Nathan Wade collusion with the Biden White House. not optimistic anyone is going to jail (thanks police barbie) but its good to know what happened and learn just how far people in govt will go to maintain power. its good to refresh your mind of these things from time to time.

secretary of labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer and her husband are making waves. she was a controversial pick when trump nominated her so the news of her causing issues is no real surprise. there is an OIG investigation into her for how she treats her staffers, but im sure she is happy to hear that her husband wont be charged with sexual assault (after accusations came from 2 of her staffers). AKWARD
